Guys. I freaking love Gravity Falls so much. My two favorites totally being Robbie and Wendy. That and I swear, for once in my life, I actually ship something hard core in a show. Normally I don't have a favorite couple, but these two are just too adorbs!

I killed myself with this I swear. Made with microns, white paint and ink, prisma colored pencils, prisma markers, and a few water colors.

Man, ALL the different techniques! They've come together nicely though. I really enjoy how the piece almost has a softer pallet to it. I mean, definitely still bold color here - it's vibrant, but not hard, not too in-your-face. There's almost a delicacy to it (not quite? but I can't think of a better word), which poses an interesting thematic juxtaposition to the actual characters themselves. Also, um, Wendy's boots ... I'm ... I'm a little mesmerized by the faded, wet, muddy leather on the feet, there. @~@ How did you accomplish that, if you don't mind my asking? It's a very nice effect, looks like it took a bit of layering.

On a way less "artsy-fartsy, thinking-too-much, analytic level", this picture is so sweet! C8 Gah, these two. Dammit it all, you made a convert out of me, I swear. Screw Dipper, Robbie and Wendy are too damn cute. xD
